A Monthly Group for the Tired, the Searching, and the Brave
Burnout Rehab
Burnout Rehab is a small, in-person therapeutic (HpG) group for those who feel exhausted, stuck, or disconnected from their sense of meaning.
-
We meet monthly in a calm, supportive space in Gräfelfing (Munich area) to pause, breathe, and take a look at what’s going on.
-
You don’t have to be absolutely burned out to a crisp — any symptom of burnout is worth your attention.
-
This group is a chance to slow down and reflect on where you are, where you want to go, and what renewal might look like for you.

We are tired of the hustle.
In men’s search for meaning we detoured to find money, safety , and stature, and were offered a deal:
-
Bring our time, energy, passion to the altar of success
-
Work really really really hard
-
For really really really long
-
And you shall be granted happiness at the top of the food chain
Yet so many of us lost meaning on the way,
surprisingly found ourselves exhausted and defeated. Deflated and demotivated. Empty not due to the lack of substance, but due to the amount of squeezing done to self. Angry with ourselves that we can’t go on.
The experience of burnout is not a personal failure - we hear from every speaker, but then we ask ourselves why does it feel like one? Could it be lack of further drive? When did the fuel run out? When did the overdoing or under doing take place? How does the undoing of this state work and if you are brave enough to look into the direction of seeking help, does that mean you have admitted your defeat?
If you are someone, who is exhausted and feeling lack of meaning in your professional or personal occupation, you might be experiencing burnout symptoms.

Methods
The group draws from evidence-based and experiential approaches:
-
Internal Family Systems (IFS) — exploring inner parts and internal dynamics of burnout
-
Existential therapy — rediscovering meaning, values, and direction
-
Creative and expressive methods — art-based exercises to externalize inner experience and reconnect with self
-
Mindfulness and body awareness — learning to listen to fatigue as information, not failure
Each session combines group discussion, reflection, and experiential exercises. Participants are encouraged to move at their own pace — whether that means finding words, images, or quiet understanding.

The group is facilitated by Ekaterina Reymarova, Psychologist (M.Sc.) and Heilpraktikerin for Psychotherapy.
Ekaterina has experience in individual and group work with adults experiencing burnout, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Her approach integrates compassion, creative expression, and psychological depth.
